Lisa began work on her miniature (1:87) scenes in 2005 and named them Glass Cathedrals.

They play with the collision between the seriousness with which we take our lives, and the contradictory intuition that perhaps all we take seriously is ultimately meaningless. Proportionately tiny in the greater scheme of things, we can identify with both the limits and the ambitions of the tiny figures in the boxes.
